Ever since we laid almost the first log, our daughter has loved to have me hang up a swing to play on while I work. Then we put in a girder log with about 13' below it, and hung a swing inside. Finally got the subfloor and roof finished, and had to hang a rope from the ridge pole - about 27' up. Then I got the stairs in and the second floor installed, and the rope swing has kind of been in the way, so it just got moved yet again. It's about 30' of rope. I guess it swings well; she played on it all night. |
