3rd floor bracket
Picked up this steel tubing to make a bracket to hold up the 3rd floor. Figured out last night how to cut it. Well, not "how to cut it" - more like "where to cut it". Haven't figured out how to make a perfect cut through 0.25" thick steel. I'll call my expert guy - he'll know what to do. Or I'll have to use 25 cutting disks... |
But it won't happen anytime soon - I'm going to stop with the second floor when I finish framing in the 2nd floor bathroom. We are only going to stub it in for now. I need the walls so I can push the vent pipe up through the roof. Then I'll need to trench the sewer line and bury the electrical. When that is all done, THEN I'll get the plumbing and electrical inspected, fix whatever he says needs fixing, and start closing this place in so we can move in. That means drywall, counters, floors, tiling the shower and bath, and some insulation.
Halfway through the year, it (moving in) could still happen this year....
